Yehoshua Ecker, Ph.D., is an adjunct lecturer on early modern Jewish history. His past courses have included "The Jews of Early Modern Europe, 1492-1750," "Jews in the Muslim World, 15th-20th Centuries," and "Diasporas, Networks and Urban Centers in the Jewish World from the 15th to the 20th Centuries." Ecker received his Ph.D. from Tel-Aviv University. His areas of interest include early modern Jewish history, Ottoman history, and history of the Middle East.
