Mordechai Paldiel, Ph.D., is a scholar of Holocaust history, particularly the rescue of Jews during the Holocaust. From 1982 to 2007, Paldiel served as director of the Righteous Among the Nations department at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Israel. Paldiel’s books include The Righteous Among the Nations (2007) and Diplomat Heroes of the Holocaust (2006). Paldiel received his Ph.D. in Holocaust studies at Temple University.
